In this video LUSC DOC Brendan Donahue will be showing players various exercises to develop a better command of the ball. The more time a player spends with the ball the more comfortable they'll be in game situations with the ball at their feet. The video will begin with fast footwork exercises and change of direction moves. It will then progress to hesitation or "stop and go" moves to help escape pressure. Finally it will focus on moves to beat a defender or "take a player on".

Practicing these moves will help a player develop an overall coordination level with the ball and are appropriate for players of any age. Players should begin carrying out these moves at a comfortable speed. As they become more comfortable with the movements they should begin to increase the speed of the movements until they can carry out the exercises at game speed.

I hope you enjoy the video and find the moves helpful!
